Pre-reading vocabulary work. A wide range of different reading genre such as folktales and legend from around the world, websites, cartoon strips and functional reading such as toy catalogues, brochures and recipes. A story written and illustrated by a 6th class student.

Grammar exercises, Exploration of text,
Summarizing, Writing character descriptions, & Creative thinking.
